Well, I respectfully disagree, I believe exactly the opposite.

By reading the headers included in this email and my previous one,
you could easily see that I understand this problem.

The word "kriget" does not remotely resemble what my statements
portray. I think you are suffering from a form of self-censorship
that is dangerous and unfounded. You are trying to portray my view of
the situation as unreasonable and harmful. I vehemently disagree with
you and advise you that "mångfald" specifically means ideas with
which you directly disagree with. If we all thought the same, where
would the diversity be?

You have a poor understanding of what the business world looks like
today. Linux is _everywhere_ in business, and you can make
significant money from knowing open source, free software and open
protocols. In fact, the world's largest, fastest and busiest
computers run Linux or FreeBSD (check the headers for yahoo.com and
the top 500 list, look for Blue Gene L.)

And yes, thank you Erling for the email you sent, clearly your
message is important for the members of this list.

Do you not think an argument could be made that using Exchange and
Microsoft software points to an economic interest that affects the
agenda? If Exchange does not follow open SMTP and other mail
protocols what is the reason it is being used? Should people not
question the Svenska Dataföreningen just because the claim they are
not influenced by "ekonomiska intresser"? 

Linux adoption in Sweden at the commercial level is well behind other
nations in Europe, Latin American and North America. Yet in a study
done by the EU, Sweden showed the highest per capita contribution to
open source software (found on SourceForge) of any country in
Europe. How do you explain this dichotomy? Could it be that
entrenched interests at the national level are not interested in
businesses using Free Software? Why are Swedes so technically
competent yet do not use Linux, FreeBSD or OpenSolaris in the
workplace?

I think it is time we question why it is this way in Sweden today and
how we can extricate Swedish data from the maw of a convicted
American monopoly, one mail server at a time.

Um, why? English is the "Official Second Language" of Sweden and the
lingua franca? Apparently you read it quite well.
