Hej David and others,
Glad you are interested. Yes, we can offer facilities at Stockholm
University to give a lecture that is interesting to students. We need to
ask the university for this, but it is generally no problem to get a room
for this. The uni knows as us ee gave crash courses on Openoffice and how
to use the thesis template.
Regarding promotion, apart from putting some info on our messageboard (in
front of the main su library) we have some contacts to the legal
department. SU organises a master program in IP law (though this starts in
january) and one in IT law (starts august). might be interesting.
Regarding timing, for the FreeSoftware day, its perhaps a bit too late
already. Perhaps a better idea to do it in the first or second week of
october - the deadline for putting ads in the student magazine is the 26th
of august.
So, how about a lecture in the first week of october on a weekday evening
(2-3 hours)? If we get a confirmation regarding the (a) name of the
person, (b) the topic and (c) the date by the 25th of august we put an ad
in the student newspaper.
Cheers,
